All transactions on our website are processed in United States Dollars (USD). The total amount shown at checkout includes:

  • The product price of each item in your cart
  • Applicable state and local sales taxes, calculated automatically based on your shipping address and displayed before you confirm payment
  • Free standard shipping on every order within the contiguous United States

There are no hidden fees, handling charges, or processing surcharges. The amount you see at checkout is the exact amount charged to your payment method.

4. When You Are Charged

Your payment method is charged at the moment you complete checkout and click the confirmation button. If we are unable to fulfill your order for any reason, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method within 10 business days.


5. Billing Descriptor

The charge on your credit card statement, bank statement, or PayPal activity will appear under the name "KimThai Garden." If you do not recognize this name and contact your bank before reaching out to us, you may inadvertently initiate a chargeback, which could delay resolution. 6. Payment Failures and Troubleshooting

If your payment is declined or does not go through:

  1. Verify that your card number, expiration date, CVV, and billing address are entered exactly as they appear on your card statement.
  2. Confirm that your card has sufficient funds or available credit.
  3. Check with your bank — some issuers temporarily block online transactions for security reasons.
  4. Try a different payment method — another card, PayPal, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.
  5. If the checkout page is not loading properly, disable any active VPN, clear your browser cache, or try a different browser or device.

7. Temporary Authorization Holds

Even when a payment is not completed successfully, your bank or card issuer may place a temporary authorization hold (displayed as "pending" or "processing") on your account. These holds are controlled entirely by your financial institution and typically disappear within 3 to 10 business days, depending on the issuer. If a hold persists beyond this window, please contact your bank directly.


8. Duplicate Charges

If you believe you were charged more than once for the same order, please contact us immediately with:

  • Your order number (if available)
  • A screenshot or photograph of the duplicate transaction(s) from your banking app or statement

We will review our payment records and work with our processor to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.


9. Pre-Authorization

In certain situations — such as when a fraud-detection system flags an order for review, or when a payment processor requires additional verification — a temporary pre-authorization may be placed on your card. This is not a completed charge. Once the order is verified and processed, the pre-authorization converts to a final charge. If the order is cancelled, the hold will be released by your bank within the standard 3–10 business-day window.


10. Refunds Issued by KimThai Garden

  • Eligibility: Refunds are governed by our Refund and Return Policy. Please review that document for details.
  • Timeline: Once approved, refunds are credited to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank may take an additional 5–10 business days to post the credit.
  • Partial refunds: When only part of an order is returned, only the value of the returned item(s) plus applicable tax is refunded. Shipping costs are refunded only if the return is due to our error.

Items Not Eligible for Refund

  • Items that have been repotted, heavily pruned, or substantially altered after delivery
  • Items returned without original packaging
  • Items returned after the 30-day window
  • Items marked "Final Sale"

11. Order Modifications Within the Payment Window

You may request to change your payment method, billing address, shipping address, or item selection within 2 hours of placing your order. After 2 hours, your order may have entered our fulfillment queue and changes may not be possible. Contact us at info@kimthaigarden.com with your order number to request a change.


12. Store-Initiated Cancellation

We reserve the right to cancel orders in the following scenarios:

  • Payment authorization fails or cannot be verified
  • Billing or shipping information appears fraudulent or invalid
  • The item is no longer in stock or has been discontinued
  • A pricing error was published on the product page
  • Unusual order patterns suggest potential fraud

If we cancel your order after payment has been collected, you will receive a full refund within 10 business days.


13. Policy Updates
