KimThai Garden is a Los Angeles–based plant shop specializing in live potted citrus trees, tropical fruit trees, flowering plants, and herbs. From our storefront at 901 N Broadway in the heart of Los Angeles, we grow, curate, and deliver healthy, well-established plants directly to your door — with free shipping across the contiguous United States.

We believe that everyone deserves access to fresh, living greenery — whether you are cultivating a backyard citrus grove, growing herbs on a kitchen windowsill, or adding a tropical Banana tree to your patio. What We Offer

Potted Citrus Trees

Our flagship collection features nursery-grown citrus trees — Kumquat, Meyer Lemon, Kaffir Lime, Pomelo, Calamansi, and Tamarind. Each tree is well-established at 2–3 feet tall, potted in a 3-gallon grower container, and arrives bearing 10–30 fresh fruits ready to harvest. These are not bare-root seedlings — they are mature, productive trees ready to produce fruit in your home or garden.

Tropical Fruit Trees

For those who dream of growing their own tropical harvest, we offer Banana trees (Dwarf and Double Hands varieties), Papaya, Guava, and Sugar Apple. These well-established trees range from 2 to 4 feet tall and bring the beauty and bounty of tropical agriculture to your backyard, balcony, or sunroom.

Flowering and Ornamental Plants

We carry a curated selection of flowering and ornamental species — Frangipani (Plumeria), Lotus (Nelumbo), Bird of Paradise (Strelitzia), and Coconut Palm — each chosen for its visual impact, hardiness, and ease of care.

Herbs and Edible Greens

Our herb collection includes Sweet Basil, Mint, Lemongrass, and Sweet Potato Leaves — all available as established potted plants ready for your kitchen, windowsill, or herb garden.

Plant-Parent Support

We do not just sell plants — we help you grow them. Our team is available to answer questions about watering schedules, sunlight requirements, fertilizing, pest management, and cold-weather protection. Whether you are a first-time plant owner or an experienced grower, we are here to help your plants thrive.

Every tree and plant we ship is nursery-grown, well-rooted, and established in its grower pot before it leaves our facility. We photograph our plants honestly and describe them accurately. We also make it clear that living organisms naturally vary — and we believe that is part of their charm.

Climate-Aware Shipping

Shipping live trees across the country requires care. We use insulated packaging, monitor weather conditions along the shipping route, and may delay shipments during extreme heat or cold to ensure your plant arrives healthy. We do not rush shipments at the expense of plant vitality.

Accessible Growing

Not everyone has a large backyard — and not every plant requires one. Our collection is designed for real-world growing conditions: potted citrus that thrives on a sunny patio, herbs that grow on a kitchen counter, tropical trees that flourish in containers.
